I get it if (maybe) they were busy but it was at least 2/3rd EMPTY! So I have been out of the restaurant biz for 20+ years, but I was in the biz for 20+ years AND this my friends was the WORST experience I have EVER had. GREAT! Except NOT!Ībdullah's remedy? To be Sat at a 4 top until the others get there AND then they would disrupt the dinner and then MOVE us to a 6 top!!!! Hmmm.OK my next ask was to speak to the Mgr. The fella said sorry note unless you are so here. Yesterday it was pouring, one member of our party is handicapped mins you, 4 of us were there the other two got held up behind rain and traffic issues. NO PROBLEM.Įxcept as I said we are frequent flyers and have been in many times without ALL - AND have been seated numerous times without ALL being present. There is a sign inside on the entry hall that does say 'You will be seated once ALL of your party is here'. We had a birthday party planned - 6 of us.as we do for ALL of our bday celebratiins! We are local and we go there at least 2x's a. I am so very sorry to share that my all-time favorite restaurant has forsaken it's people. The end of the buffet was right at the kitchen doors making it difficult to maneuver back to our seats. The sneezeguards were also fairly low, making it difficult to access some things. The decor had ropes draped down that I had to duck as I moved along the buffet. I am 6'3" and the buffet was mildly problematic. Later a fresh pan was brought out and it was much better.Īlthough the place did not seem to have tables crowded together overall, we were seated next to a wall, so were less than 3 feet away from other customers. For instance, could not even tell from looking at the melon, what kind it was. The fruit pan was horrible when we got there. The salad area was okay as was the non-seafood area. Stuffed mushrooms were cooked in heavy oil or something. The Kobi was good as was the fried pollock. our waiter never explained things or mentioned the drink special (although we heard him talk to other tables and tell them the drink special). The person who seated us was talking/listening on a headset the whole time. We were never asked if we ahd been there before, or had things explained to us. The staff was not particularly friendly to us. Had been to the one in the Outer Banks and enjoyed it so we thought we'd give this one a try.
